Archeo Gusto: wine event at the Monastero dei Benedittini

I'm a bit late posting this, but this evening there is a wine event at the Monastero dei Benedettini in Catania, that will including learning about ancient winemaking by an expert from Egypt, tasting the wine of COS which is made using large ceramic jars buried in the ground, accompanied by middle eastern appetizers, and a visit to the medieval kitchens of the monastery. Should be fun for anyone in the area!

it is located across the street from the Botanical Gardens as a point of reference. Also there is a big used stuff/antique market every Sunday morning I believe, but not sure where. Enjoy your stay!

It's a long way for me to go but I can't postpone it, every year I get older
